Destination:
The Tall Ship Silva is a 130 ft Schooner built to the highest safety standards. The ship accommodates from 10 up to 150 guests. Stay comfortable in rain or shine under awnings and indoor/outdoor seating. Sailing season extends from May to October.
Facilities:
ON DECK One of Tall Ship Silva's finest features is her wide open deck that accommodates all of her 150 guests in one area with a 360 degree view of Halifax Harbour. Traditional varnished wood seating is placed around the entire deck so guests can sit back, relax and enjoy the sights.
Banquet Room:
The inside dining room is ideal for buffet or sit-down dinners. The room is decorated simply yet elegantly with classic white linens, cushioned bistro chairs and tasteful centre pieces. Designed to suit all events, it has an interchangeable layout, featuring 2 large skylights that allow you to view the sails & stars in the moonlight.
On-Deck Enclosed Pub:
A highlight and guest favorite is the "Wheelhouse Pub", with a wide selection of beer, wine, and cocktails and boasting a fine selection of single malt scotches. There is plenty of seating with bar stools, cocktail tables and a comfy cushioned settee surrounding the room.
