Summer Wine & Culture Festival
Although the Festival takes place normally in July, dates and events are yet to be determined for 2012.
The culinary experience during the Wine and Culture Festival is full of innovation and surprises and the Delta Sun Peaks Resort hosts the perennial sell out event that kicks it off. Our Symphony of Flavours event is a celebration of fine wine and exquisite food set to the rhythm of orchestral sounds from the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra (KSO) on our poolside terrace overlooking the mountains and central village square.
The Wine and Culture Festival is designed to introduce people to some of the lesser known vineyards in the province and enjoy tapas prepared with products from local farmers and ranchers located in the Thompson Valley. A 13-person string ensemble from the KSO will fill the air at Symphony of Flavours with classical pieces from Mozart, Dunn, Britten, and Stamitz.
This festival happens during alpine blossom season at Sun Peaks Resort, July 17-19, 2009.
